Scale & Airflow Polishing Treatment
The dentist/hygienist will remove plaque and calculus present, as well as effectively removing surface stains and brightening your smile with use of our Airflow System.
Professional cleaning does what home brushing cannot: it removes hardened deposits and staining from the places a brush does not reach, and keeps the gums that hold your teeth healthy. Regular hygiene visits are the quiet foundation under every other treatment — and the appointment most patients say leaves their mouth feeling noticeably fresher.
01
Gum health check
A quick assessment of your gum condition first, so the clean is tailored to what your mouth actually needs rather than a one-size routine.
02
A careful, thorough clean
Scaling to lift hardened deposits, fine polishing, and — where offered — air-flow stain removal for tea, coffee and red-wine staining.
03
Honest home-care advice
Two minutes on technique, the spots you are missing, and which tools genuinely help — specific to your mouth, not generic leaflet advice.
Good to know
If your gums bleed when you brush, that is usually a reason to book a hygiene visit sooner rather than later — bleeding is an early, very treatable sign, and it responds well to a proper clean plus small changes at home.
